行秋：咦，两位，你们怎么来了？

Xingqiu：Huh, it's you two... What brings you here?

派蒙：行秋！太好啦，幸好你在这里，我们想找你打听一件事！

Paimon：Xingqiu! Great, we found you. We wanted to ask you about something!

向行秋说明了远黛的情况。

You explain the situation to Xingqiu.

行秋：嗯…可供参考的线索有点少，我也不敢保证自己一定能说对。

Xingqiu：Hmm... That's not a whole lot of information to go off of. I don't know if I can say for sure.

Traveler: Anything is helpful and appreciated.

Xingqiu：I can't pinpoint her identity from your description alone. But considering her age, I am reminded of a "nameless heroine" who's been featured in various chivalric novels.

Paimon：Nameless heroine?

行秋：正是。相传五十年前久旱成灾，有位无名女侠行走世间，清妖邪、剿盗匪，民众交口称赞，却始终不知道她的姓名。

Xingqiu：That's right. The novels often speak of a great drought from fifty years ago. As the people suffered, a nameless heroine appeared and began to clear away evil spirits and bandit camps. The people idolized her but never learned her name.

行秋：众人只知道她先是独来独往，后来与一位志同道合的天衡方士相爱，两人常并肩作战，被视作神仙眷侣。

Xingqiu：All they knew was that she always acted alone. Later, though, she supposedly fell in love with a similarly noble-minded exorcist from Mt. Tianheng. They were well-matched in more ways than one, often fighting together as a fearsome duo of otherworldly strength.

行秋：旱灾结束后，女侠与方士归隐江湖、寄情山水，开始了不被打扰的寻常生活，从此世间只留下关于她的种种传说。

Xingqiu：After the drought ended, the heroine and the exorcist left the public eye and began living a reclusive life in the mountains. All that remained were tales of her incredible accomplishments.

行秋：早年声名赫赫，最后下落不明——这一点与你们描述的远黛女士颇有几分相似，可作参考。

Xingqiu：The way this nameless heroine faded from fame into obscurity later in life is not too dissimilar from Ms. Yuandai. I hope that's somewhat helpful.

派蒙：不愧是行秋，懂得真多呀。

Paimon：Thanks a lot Xingqiu! We knew it'd be worth talking to you.

行秋：哪里哪里，我也是闲暇时从书中看到，凭兴趣稍加考证而已。

Xingqiu：It's nothing at all, just something I came across while reading. I did do a bit of extra research on her story, but it was just out of personal curiosity.

派蒙：我还是觉得很厉害！对了，行秋，你知道那位无名女侠，年轻时都去过哪些地方吗？

Paimon：Well, Paimon still thinks that's super cool! Wait, Xingqiu, if you've read up on her, do you know of any places often associated with her?

行秋：容我仔细想想…在那些小说里，无名女侠每次出场都绕不开三个地方：望舒客栈、绝云间以北，以及庆云顶。

Xingqiu：Let me think... In the novels, the nameless heroine always appeared near one of three places: Wangshu Inn, the area just north of Jueyun Karst, and Qingyun Peak.

行秋：或许当初，她也经常在这三处地方现身，留下了诸多逸闻传说。才导致后人编写故事时，大多采用这些地点。

Xingqiu：Perhaps the real-life heroine who inspired the character was also often seen near those three places. That would explain why those locations appear in the various novels written about her.

行秋：呵呵，不必客气。当初我翻阅记载的时候，也有一些搞不懂的地方，如果远黛女士真是无名女侠本人，或许她能解开我的疑惑。

Xingqiu：Haha, you're welcome. To be honest, I found some parts of the story confusing when I first came across it. If Ms. Yuandai was indeed the original inspiration for the character, she may just be able to help me put the pieces together.

行秋：大部分侠客退隐江湖后，仍会有许多奇闻趣事流传出来。但无名女侠却是音讯全无，以至于当时还有传闻说她「身患重病」。

Xingqiu：It's rare for a chivalric hero to fade into obscurity during their lifetime, even after retiring from the public eye. But no one ever saw or heard from the nameless heroine again... There were even rumors that she became extremely ill.

行秋：我很好奇一个人为什么要隐姓埋名到这般地步，简直就像是在躲避什么一样…这里面也许有着不为人知的故事。

Xingqiu：I've never understood why someone would go to such lengths to erase themselves from public memory. It's almost as if she was trying to hide from something... There's probably far more to the story than what's been written.

派蒙：如果我们找到真相，也会分享给你的。

Paimon：We'll be sure to tell you if we manage to uncover the truth!

行秋：好啊，说不定你们讲述的故事，要比书中描绘的更加精彩。

Xingqiu：That's a deal. Perhaps, behind the truth of it all, there lies a story more fantastical than any work of fiction.

派蒙：嘿嘿，感觉从行秋这里听到了不少线索。旱灾、无名女侠、归隐…咦，总感觉有点熟悉？

Paimon：Paimon feels like we just learned so much from Xingqiu! A drought, a nameless heroine, a life of seclusion... Wait, why does this story sound super familiar?

派蒙：对了！这个故事里也出现了「旱灾」呢，难道说璃月经常发生旱灾吗？

Paimon：Oh, right! There's a drought in this story, too. Um, Xingqiu, are droughts super common in Liyue or something?

行秋：这个嘛…在很久之前，人们就开始研究防备干旱的方法，比如改良土壤、开凿水渠等等。

Xingqiu：Well... They used to be. But people have long since developed methods to prevent them, like by cultivating the soil or digging canals.

行秋：所以干旱时有发生，但能称之为「灾」的已经不多。过往数百年里，前面提到的那场旱灾已经算较为严重的了。

Xingqiu：So while droughts do happen from time to time, they are rarely regarded as true disasters. The drought fifty years ago is probably one of the worst we've had in the last several centuries.

行秋：作物枯萎、溪流干涸，山野间的魔物也变得狂躁，不断袭扰路过的商队。无家可归的人们聚成盗匪，天灾酿成人祸，一发不可收拾。

Xingqiu：The crops withered, the streams ran dry, and the monsters in the mountains became rabid and agitated. Countless caravans were attacked, and people who lost their homes came together to form bandit groups... What started as a natural disaster soon became a human tragedy as well.

派蒙：听起来好严重…

Paimon：That sounds awful...

行秋：是啊，所以无名女侠的故事才会广为流传。她一定是位光明磊落的侠客，才会不求回报地付出那么多努力。

Xingqiu：Yeah, and that's exactly why the nameless heroine was so beloved. She must have been someone of true integrity, to do so much for the people while asking nothing in return.

行秋：当然，就算是如此严重的灾难，跟上古时期比起来也已经温和了许多。

Xingqiu：Still, as terrible as that drought was, it was nothing compared to the truly calamitous disasters that befell this land in ancient times.

行秋：据说在很久很久以前，各种灾害要更加频繁、更加凶恶。只有那些强大的仙人们出手，才可能消弭灾害带来的影响。

Xingqiu：They say that back in those days, disasters were both more severe and more common. Only the strongest of adepti could hope to dispel the ruin and devastation.

行秋：两位，还有什么问题吗？

Xingqiu：Do you have any other questions?

派蒙：没有了。旅行者，我们先回去和闲云小姐她们会合吧。

Paimon：We're good for now! We're just going to head back and meet up with Ms. Xianyun and the others again.

派蒙：希望那位老奶奶可以想起来什么，她当初可是救下很多人的大英雄吧？感觉这些事忘掉了有些可惜。

Paimon：Paimon hopes that Granny Yuandai will be able to remember more of her past! She used to be a great hero who saved many people. It's so sad that she can't recall any of it.

Madame Ping：Oh? Why so formal all of a sudden? I must say, you're making me a little nervous. What is it?

Xianyun：Well... The inquiry is as such...

Xianyun：...Approximately how much Mora would one need to afford a comfortable life in the Harbor, not unlike the one that you yourself lead?

萍姥姥：倒是所需不多。你这是——

Madame Ping：Hmm... it does not require as much as you may think. Still, do you mean that—

派蒙：留云真君、萍姥姥，我们回来啦，你们在聊什么呢？

Paimon：Cloud Retainer, Madame Ping! What are you two talking about?

闲云：咳。些许小事而已，打听到什么消息了吗？

Xianyun：Ahem... Nothing, save for some trivial matters. Have you unearthed any useful details?

派蒙：行秋有一个猜测…嗯，等漱玉和远黛奶奶到了再讲吧。

Paimon：Xingqiu has a theory... But let's save it for when Shuyu and Ms. Yuandai have joined up with us again.

又等了一会儿，远黛和漱玉赶到。人齐之后，派蒙转述了行秋的猜测…

Shuyu：I don't have many memories of him. But, there was this one time, I found a box in our attic full of a bunch of weird sigils.

Shuyu：I think so too. Granny might remember something once she's returned to a familiar place.

远黛：好茶、好茶，茶中有露水的味道…

Yuandai：What marvelous tea... I can taste the dew's sweetness in this cup.

远黛：就像在山野间散步…无根清净…

Yuandai：It's as if I was taking a stroll in the mountains... thoroughly one with nature, and at peace...

萍姥姥：是吗？喜欢的话，可以多喝一点，不必急着离开。到我们这个年纪，慢下来，多和身边的人聊聊天，也挺好。

Madame Ping：Is that so? Then please drink as much as you like. There's no need to hurry. At our age, it's always nice to slow down and take the time to appreciate pleasant conversation among friends.

Yuandai：Thank you...

旅行者：休息一会儿再走吧。

Traveler：Let's rest here for a little while, then.

漱玉：也好。既然有时间，我可以问你们一个问题吗？

Shuyu：Okay. Since we have the time... Could I ask you something?

派蒙：可以呀，你想问什么？

Paimon：Sure thing! What would you like to know?

漱玉：嗯…这是关于我的一个秘密。我们到那边去聊吧。

Shuyu：Um... I have a secret I wanna tell you. Let's go talk over there.

Shuyu：Well, I've kinda been meaning to ask ever since we started talking in the restaurant, but are you guys all... adepti in disguise?

派蒙：呃！这个…这个…

Paimon：Oh! Uhh... About that...

旅行者：为什么这么问？

Traveler：Why do you say that?

漱玉：因为你们的气质很特别，这位闲云姐姐还自称过「本仙」。

Shuyu：Well, you guys just seem super special. Plus... I think I might've heard Ms. Xianyun call herself an adeptus.

派蒙：喂…真君，这次可是你自己说漏嘴了，你来想办法糊弄过去吧。

Paimon：Eh... Must have been a slip of the tongue, hehe... Xianyun, since you were the one who, uh, "misspoke," maybe you can explain to Shuyu here what you really meant by that.

闲云：咳…

Xianyun：Ahem...

闲云：不错，本仙正是仙人，有什么问题吗？

Xianyun：One is indeed an adeptus. Is that of some concern to you?

派蒙：啊？！

Paimon：Eh!?

漱玉：果然…

Shuyu：I knew it...

旅行者：你看起来好像不怎么惊讶？

Traveler：You don't sound surprised at all.

漱玉：其实在我很小的时候，我曾经见过一位白鹤仙人。

Shuyu：Well... One time when I was a little kid, I saw a pure white illuminated crane.

漱玉：那年我发了高烧，奶奶不在身旁。我只觉得身体很烫、很不舒服，就在这时，有一只纯白无瑕的仙鹤从天而降。

Shuyu：I had this super high fever, and Granny wasn't around. I was feeling all icky and gross. But then, this snowy-white crane flew down from the sky!

漱玉：她背着我去了一处洞天，喂我吃了仙丹。当我再次醒来的时候，已经重新躺在家里的床上，病也痊愈了。

Shuyu：She put me on her back, and flew me to her cool adeptus house, and fed me some sort of magic potion. When I woke up, I was already back in my bed, and my fever was gone.

漱玉：可惜我一直在昏睡，直到最后也没有向那位白鹤仙人道谢。

Shuyu：I really wanted to thank her, but I was too sleepy to stay awake, so I never got the chance.

漱玉：这次打扰你们，也是想冒昧问下：你们认识这样的白鹤仙人吗？

Shuyu：So, I just kinda wanted to ask if maybe... any of you have ever met an adeptus like that?

派蒙：纯白的鹤仙人吗？我们只见过蓝白色的，还有黑褐色的。

Paimon：A... pure white illuminated crane? The only two we've ever met are blue-and-white, and black-and-brown...

派蒙：真君，你见过白鹤仙人吗？

Paimon：Have you ever met one that's pure white, Cloud Retainer?

闲云：哼，所谓纯色的白鹤仙人，大多是书中臆想出来的描绘，本仙也从未见过。

Xianyun：Hmph. Never has one met an adeptus with such features. One surmises such a description is but a hyperbolic embellishment that oft results from narrative accounts.

漱玉：奇怪…难道说当时只是一场梦？

Shuyu：That's weird... Was it really just a dream, then?

漱玉：无论如何，还是多谢你们。我的事并不重要，希望奶奶能够顺利康复。

Shuyu：Well, even if it was just in my head, it doesn't matter that much anyway — all I really want is to help Granny recover her memories. I'm really grateful for all your help.

远黛：有哇，我记得这里的鱼很好吃。还有远处的天上，南飞的鸟儿里每次都有一只掉队。

Yuandai：Yes! The fish here is very delicious. And if you look out into the distance... you can always spot a bird that's been left behind by its flock.

远黛：我那时就住在这里，望着窗外。是哪间房来着？让我找找…

Yuandai：I believe I used to have a room here. It had a window... Yes, yes, I spent a lot of time looking out that window. Which room was it again? Let me look...

漱玉：我陪您一起去吧。

Shuyu：I'll come with.

派蒙：虽然还是听不太懂她在说什么，但是她应该真的来过望舒客栈吧？看起来她对这里很熟悉…咦？

Paimon：Paimon's still having some trouble understanding what she's talking about, but if she's so familiar with this place, that must mean she lived here, right? Wait... Huh!?

派蒙目送远黛和漱玉走远，魈突然出现在了视野中。

After Paimon sees Yuandai and Shuyu off, Xiao suddenly appears before you.

派蒙：呜哇！魈！你你你怎么在这里？不声不响的，吓了我一跳！

Paimon：Woah! Xiao! What are you doing here all of a sudden? You scared the living daylights out of Paimon!

魈：方才感应到了非人之物的气息，便过来看看。

Xiao：I sensed a non-human presence and decided to come take a look.

魈：既然你们也在，看来没什么事，是我多虑了。

Xiao：If you're here, then there's likely no trouble afoot. I suppose there's no cause for concern.

魈：…许久未见，留云真君。你又变回以前的样子了。

Xiao：...It's been a while, Cloud Retainer. I see you have returned to your previous form.

旅行者：魈也见过变成人的留云真君吗？

Traveler：You've met her in this form before?

魈：自然。魔神战争期间，我曾多次与这样的她并肩作战。

Xiao：I have indeed. I fought alongside her in this form on many occasions during the Archon War.

Paimon：A... Cloud Retainer who barely talks? Paimon can't picture it. But what happened after that? If you were so powerful in your human form, why did you decide to take up your bird form again?

Xiao：After the war, Cloud Retainer retired to Mt. Aocang, only revealing herself to the occasional visitor, and always in her avian form.

Xiao：...Although, I do believe there was an occasion some thirty odd years ago when she decided to don her human form. I believe it was for the purpose of—

闲云：咳。都是些陈芝麻烂谷子的事，不提也罢。

Xianyun：Ahem. One believes there is little need to relive bygone matters.

远处传来漱玉和远黛的声音。

You can still hear Shuyu and Yuandai despite the distance.

漱玉：奶奶！你还好吗？

Shuyu：Granny! Are you okay!?

远黛：啊啊…当时在这里，我…

Yuandai：Ahh... Back then, at this place, I...

Xiao：Perhaps this conversation should end here. I shall take my leave now.

魈转身离开，漱玉和远黛走上前来。

漱玉：各位，奶奶她好像真的、真的想起来了一些事！

Shuyu：Everyone, I—I think Granny is finally beginning to remember her past!

闲云：不必心急，慢慢说即可。

Xianyun：Slowly now. Calm your mind, and recount what has been recalled.

远黛：很久之前，我暂住在这里养病。

Yuandai：A long time ago, I... stayed here to recuperate from my illness.

派蒙：欸？难道行秋提到的传言是真的，你真的生过病？隐居也跟生病有关吗？

Paimon：Huh? So what Xingqiu said was true? You did fall ill? Was that why you went into hiding?

远黛：我记不清了。抱歉啊，我甚至不记得当时我生的是什么病，只记得很严重，而且好像没有药能够医治。

Yuandai：I... don't remember. I'm very sorry, but I can't even remember the name of my illness. The only thing I can remember is that it took a great toll on me, and there was no cure for it.

远黛：我住在望舒客栈，经常昏迷不醒。偶尔恢复意识，望着窗外离群的飞鸟，不知道为什么会开始流泪。

Yuandai：I was confined to my room in Wangshu Inn, where I spent many days unconscious. I'd come to every once in a while and stare at the migrating birds outside the window. It was a solemn sight. I remember crying... but I'm not even sure I knew why...

远黛：直到有一天，我遇到了一位旅行商人。他听说了我的病情，卖给了我一瓶「醒魂丹」。

Yuandai：One day, I met a traveling merchant. Upon hearing of my illness, he sold me a bottle of Soul-Revitalizing Teapills.

远黛：他说，这是用仙人之血炼的丹药，可以缓解我的症状。我吞服之后，果然顺利康复，之后很多年都没有出过问题。

Yuandai：He told me that the pills were concocted using adepti blood and could be used to alleviate my symptoms. Sure enough, I made a full recovery. My illness remained dormant for several decades after that.

旅行者：难道说「健忘症」…

Traveler：So the "dementia" you're suffering from now is actually...

派蒙：等下，你说「很多年都没有出过问题」。难道说你年轻时患的，就是现在正在发作的健忘症吗？

Paimon：Wait, but if your illness "remained dormant" for several decades, are you saying that... what you're going through now is just a relapse of what happened all those years ago?

派蒙：只是后来这个症状被醒魂丹压制了？唔…想不明白…还有什么别的线索吗？
