珊瑚蝶 Coral Butterfly

珊瑚王虫的迁徙形态，看起来像是蝴蝶。

The Sangacorexes' migratory patterns resemble those of butterflies.

在接近完全转化一片区域的荒蛮元素时，下一代珊瑚王虫的骨骼就会凝聚为翅膀一般的形态。它们会在渊下宫中飞舞，寻找下一片繁衍生息之地。

When they have almost converted the rampaging elemental energies in a certain area, the bone structure of the next generation of Sangacorex will condense into wings of a sort. They will then fly through Enkanomiya, searching for a new place to live, grow, and multiply.

根据观察，各种蛙类在体表的粘液干涸后，皮肤往往会变成青绿色。目前推断是为了节约体内的水分，外皮发生了某种变化导致的。

According to observations, various frog species will turn green once the sticky substance on their surfaces dries up. The present hypothesis is that this is a result of some change to its outer skin, and helps to conserve bodily moisture.

外壳呈黄金色的螃蟹尤其美味，是璃月名菜「黄金蟹」的首选食材。

This golden-shelled crab is especially tasty, and is the star of the show in the famed Liyue dish known as Golden Crab.

有的人会将横行无忌的人形容为「螃蟹」，但事实上螃蟹的行动方式是基于它的生理结构，而不是出于性格。这种形容对螃蟹而言十分不公平。

Some people call those who run amok as they please "crabs," but a crab's manner of movement is not so much a matter of their character as it is their physical makeup. Such monikers are most unfair to crab-kind.

The shells of these crabs are painted in many beautiful red shades, which wonderfully reflect the many stages of sunlight. They look especially good cooked.

其外壳呈蓝灰色的蟹类。性情比色彩鲜艳的同族更温顺，更不易被激怒。但其钳足也更加有力，被夹到的话会很痛。

These crabs have blue-gray shells and are more docile and less prone to anger than other crab species. Their limbs, however, are of greater strength. Getting pinched by one of their claws is definitely going to hurt.

将军蟹 General Crab

It has a purple shell that resembles the emblem of the Shogunate. It also is also quite Shogun-like in its fearless, dominant movements. Such arrogance! Such impertinence!

薄红蟹 Pale Red Crab

It has a light red colored shell and a gentle nature. As such, it's a lot more suitable to be raised for ornamental display than others of its kind.

陆鳗鳗肉质鲜美，烤制后味道独特。在稻妻，是人人偏爱的美味食材。

The lovely meat of the unagi has a unique flavor when grilled, and is a much-beloved delicacy in Inazuma.

深海鳗鳗 Deep Sea Unagi

体型修长的两栖鱼类，通常出没于深海中。生物学而言是陆鳗鳗的异种，会通过共生的方式，随其他相比之下更加庞大的生物行动。

A slender, amphibious fish that often appears in the deep ocean. Biologically, it is an offshoot of the unagi, and it often acts in symbiosis with larger creatures.

之所以出现在渊下宫，或许是因为深海龙蜥、鳐，抑或是古代的大蛇将它们带到了这片陌生的土地上吧。

As to why they appear in Enkanomiya, it may be that the Bathysmal Vishaps, rays, or perhaps even the ancient Great Serpent brought them to this strange land.

赤鳍陆鳗鳗 Red-Finned Unagi

体型修长的两栖鱼类，有着在浅滩、沙洲的陆地上获取热量的特殊习性。

A slender, amphibious fish that has the peculiar habit of warming itself up at shallows or sandbanks.

陆鳗鳗的幼鱼通体透明，长成之后才会慢慢显现出漂亮的朱色耳鳍与赤黄斑纹。除了用作高级食材外，也经常被当作观赏性的鱼类。

Young unagi tend to be transparent throughout, and will only gain their beautiful vermillion ear-fins and red-and-yellow splotches as they mature. Apart from being used as high-end ingredients, they are also often kept as ornamental fish.

流沙鳗鳗 Quicksand Eel

体型修长的两栖鱼类，通常生活于沙海之中。为了适应高温缺水的沙漠环境，不仅身体演化成了特殊的形态，就连繁殖方式也发生了变化。

A slender amphibian fish that usually lives in the desert. In order to adapt to the high temperatures and lack of water, they have not only taken on a fairly unique shape, but their reproductive methods have also changed.

虽然被教令院的学者们所否定，但沙漠的居民似乎认为，存在于沙海之下的巨型生物才是它们蛹化成熟之后的完整形态。

Though the researchers of the Akademiya firmly deny this, the desert folk believe that the giant life forms within the sands are the mature and complete forms of these creatures following pupation.

吉光虫 Lucklight Fly

会摄取层岩巨渊地下奇石中的能量，发出微光的无害生物。其发光的特性备受矿工宠爱，被视为吉兆，得名「吉光」。

These creatures dwell within The Chasm, absorbing the energies of the strange stones within and emitting a dim light. Because they give off light, they are loved by miners and concerned a good omen, thus their term "Lucklight."

因为黑暗当中的细小光明总是受到珍惜的。

After all, any light in such darkness is to be treasured.

在层岩巨渊意外掘出「怪东西」之后，它们的种群也繁茂起来。

When "something strange" was unearthed in The Chasm, their numbers also began to increase greatly.

珉光虫 Malachitin Lumibug

会摄取玉石中残留的微弱能量，以此维持存续的奇特生物。

An incredible creature that absorbs the faint energy radiating from jade to stay alive.

一动不动时，偶尔会被粗心的冒险者错看成玉珑，因此得名「珉光」。

When motionless, it is sometimes mistaken for jade by careless adventurers, hence the moniker, "Malachitin."

圣金虫 Scarab

栖息在浩瀚沙海之中的顽强甲虫。甲壳上有着与沙漠中的古老遗迹相类似的花纹。

A hardy beetle that dwells in the vast desert. Its shell has patterns on it that resemble those that mark the ancient desert ruins.

传说在黄沙之王统治大地的年代里，在千柱之城的凯旋式上，善使魔法的司祭会将那些战败者的灵魂封印在这些昆虫之内，命它们永远守护圣者的神庙与宫殿。后来，神庙崩塌，宫殿倾覆，唯有这些金色的虫类依旧延续着已被遗忘的旧日誓约。

Legend has it that when the desert king ruled this land, the souls of those vanquished by him would be sealed within these insects by the magically-skilled priests at great triumphs held in the City of the Pillars. The scarabs would then be charged with defending the sacred temples and palaces for all eternity. In the end, the temples would collapse and the palaces would fall, and only these golden insects would remain, fulfilling their ancient, forgotten oaths.

子探测单元 Subdetection Unit

枫丹科学院利用新型奇械构件生产的微型探测单元，原本用以监测各类环境数据。

Detection units produced by the Fontaine Research Institute using new models of artificed components. Its original purpose was monitoring all kinds of environmental data.

这些单元最初由奇械先端工艺研发科与自然生态环境监测科共同管理：前者负责生产与布设装置，后者负责回收与整理数据。鉴于后者已于先前的实验事故中解散，枫丹科学院目前只负责执行前一项作业。

These units were originally cooperatively managed by the Advanced Artificed Technology Research and Development Department and the Natural Ecological Environment Monitoring Department, where the former was in charge of manufacturing and deployment of the detection units while the latter was responsible for collecting and sorting data. Now that the latter department has been dismissed due to a previous experimental accident, only the former department's duties are now being performed by the Fontaine Research Institute.

燃素蜜虫 Phlogiston Aphid

热爱燃素，盘绕火焰飞舞的奇特生物。正如蜜蜂是运用花粉的「酿造师」，生有特殊器官的燃素蜜虫也有着燃素的「厨师」之称——在部分利用燃素的纳塔生物看来，被燃素蜜虫处理过的燃素更加美味。若是野外某地有着大量燃素蜜虫集聚，说明此地有着品质可观的燃素。部分「烟谜主」的燃素刻录师更是会专门饲养燃素蜜虫，对自己所用的燃素进行特殊的预处理…

A curious creature that loves phlogiston and dances around flames. Just as bees are "brewers" that use pollen, Phlogiston Aphids are also known as "chefs" of phlogiston due to their own special organs — in the eyes of some creatures of Natlan that make use of phlogiston, phlogiston processed by Phlogiston Aphids is simply more delicious. Should there be a large concentration of Phlogiston Aphids gathered somewhere in the wild, that means high-quality phlogiston may be found there. Some "Masters of the Night-Wind" Phlogiston Engravers will raise Phlogiston Aphids specifically to pre-process the phlogiston they use...

固晶甲虫 Crystal Beetle

性格活泼的甲虫，背负着水晶般的固态燃素。

A beetle with a lively, energetic personality that carries a block of crystal-like solid phlogiston.

固晶甲虫绚丽的外貌能远远吸引其他生物，若是来者友善，固晶甲虫就会与对方轻松玩耍，慢慢成为朋友，若是来者居心叵测，那固晶甲虫坚硬如岩石的身躯会让它们尝尽苦头。

The Crystal Beetle's magnificent appearance can attract other creatures from afar. Should they prove friendly, the Crystal Beetle will play with the other party, and over time, they can become friends. Should the other party have ulterior motives, then the Crystal Beetle will use its rock-hard body to make them regret it.

相传，固晶甲虫对部分矿物有着一定的感知能力，一些「回声之子」的矿工们会活用这种特技，结交几位固晶甲虫朋友，下矿时请它们助自己一爪之力…

It is said that Crystal Beetles have the special ability to perceive certain ores and minerals. Some miners from the Children of Echoes put this incredible faculty to good use, making friends with a few Crystal Beetles and asking them to lend a tarsus when they head down into the mines...
